Allergy Testing

Allergy testing identifies specific allergens triggering allergic reactions. Lifeline Clinic & Diagnostics offers comprehensive allergy tests, including skin prick tests and blood tests (specific IgE), to pinpoint allergens and customize allergen avoidance strategies, immunotherapy, or medication plans for effective allergy management.

Skin Prick Test (SPT) This is the most common allergy test where small amounts of allergens are pricked into the skin, and the reaction is observed. It's quick, relatively painless, and provides rapid results.

Blood Tests (Serum IgE Testing) Measures specific antibodies (IgE) in the blood that are produced in response to allergens. This includes tests such as ImmunoCAP (RAST) and ELISA tests.
